Back Nine Bistro - Sunshine Coast D

The Back Nine Bistro, located at the Pender Harbour Golf Club, offers a beautiful view from the deck overlooking ponds and fairways. Although the food prepared by the friendly owner and chef, Lyle, is generally good, the house salads are lacking in variety. The main issue is the change in business model, with the restaurant now operating as a minimal service establishment. This means customers must retrieve their own water and menu, place their order at the counter, and pay before their meal is delivered to their table by the cashier. This new system is not conducive to a relaxing dining experience, and we believe many customers, aside from golfers, may prefer a traditional full-service restaurant. With other options available in the area at comparable prices, we will be dining elsewhere in the future. We wish Lyle the best of luck with his current business model, but the viability of this approach remains uncertain.

On Hwy 101 just as you think you have left town. Scenic location. Not staffed for a crowd so if you are in a hurry - we were not - it might not be the place to stop. Great staff and very clean washrooms.

Thuis is great little spot for lunch particularly on a sunny day. the staff are amazing and super friendly. They have great food and serve amazing draft beer too! Warning - Best to do your round of golf before the meal!

Great spot for lunch in the sun and a cold beer or glass of wine ! Casual with very good soup great sandwiches .
