Ramen Seas - Sunnyvale

My partner and I were very excited to try this place because of all great reviews. we noticed that they were understaffed, so we expected we were waiting a little time. we have placed our order, 4 tables were sat while we were waiting. 40 minutes later and all we got were our drinks, while all the others sat after us had their meals ready and another couple was ready to pay before we decided to leave. we have tried to give them the advantage of the doubt. does not know how to eat, hopefully this does not happen again, provided we try to go back to the future.

My second time here, but first review! The first time I came, I was basic and just got a regular tonkotsu ramen. But I knew I had to come back for the seafood ramen! They are called Ramen Seas ; . Just look at that presentation! This seafood ramen was totally worth $20 for all the jam packed seafood you get! And all the seafood was cooked perfectly! Nothing was overcooked! There was plenty of shrimp, scallops, clams and mussels! You can tell the broth had notes of both pork and seafood. The broth coated the chewy noodles very well. I also love the amount of veggies they put in their ramen! Karage was so-so for me. I think it came with a side of kewpie mayo. Not my favorite karage, but not the worst either. Definitely would come back for ramen whenever I have a craving :

I didn't think the ramen here was too spectacular. You can find parking in the parking garage near by which is free. I got the 3rd ramen in the menu and it didn't have the same ramen taste that I normally love and enjoy. I have to say it wasn't bad but just didn't taste like a typical Japanese ramen in a ramen place. I finished the whole thing mind you. It took kind of a long time to get our order placed but once we did, the ramen came fairly at a decent time. Wouldn't come here again tho for the ramen. I might try their other items?

This is staple spot for ramen in sunnyvale! they're fairly priced and def comes with an ton of food. they can get pretty busy during lunch time!

Went to this ramen place and WOW!!! Ordered spicy black miso ramen with extra corn topping and it was divine! Also the Meintaiko onigiri is a must try-crispy rice outside and the meintaiko filling was to die for. The owner was very nice and so do the staff! It 's very far from where I live but it 's on my visit again list
