I ordered the entire vegan part of the menu and had regretted zero. the vegan empanadas were amazing and so was the bao bun. my partner loved the vegan kibis, but I found it a tad salty, but I don't use much salt, so they take it with a korn of around salt. the vegan calamari is made with hibiscus blossom and tasted good, the Cassava frits were really good. do not leave without ordering the vegan cheesecake. the service was amazing. the owner is a very nice lady who is eager to make recommendations and ask to answer. we ordered 6 items and came out under $60. I would recommend checking this place.
I visited this restaurant to catch up with some friends after work, and we loved the location. The cozy little space is adorned with charming striped decorations and pretty lights. The owner, Katie, and her chef are incredibly kind and dedicated. They have a special section dedicated to vegan dishes, and they make a real effort to provide delicious vegan alternatives for us to enjoy. I highly recommend trying the vegan kibis and bao. I also really enjoyed the sikil p’ak, the pumpkin adds a healthier twist to the creamy dip.
The restaurant offers great vegan choices. The owner was extremely welcoming and provided top-notch service. She mentioned that more vegan options will be added in the near future.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food, atmosphere, and service were all fantastic. Although my partner is not completely vegan, we both enjoyed the vegan options. We tried their vegan tapas, including the vegan bao, vegan empanada, and yucca fries, which were all delicious. My partner ordered a non-vegan dish, while I opted for the vegan calamari taco since I was already full. This restaurant is a great choice for groups with various dietary preferences, as they offer a wide range of options to suit everyone's tastes.
So incredible. 2-3 small plates per person you try more unique dishes! The “Calamari” is more like savory Hibiscus lemon fritters with aioli, but we personally liked this. The vegan empanadas were definitely the star of the show. Large, clearly selected options on the menu with and without vegan meat. Interesting and friendly staff. We are sad that we couldn't try anything because there are so many options. We will definitely come back!
