Shappi Tandoori - Sunbury-on-Thames

I visited this restaurant for the first time since it came under new management, and I was blown away! I decided to order a standard chicken curry, a "pure tears" (which I believe is a type of dish), and a chapatti, since it was my first time there. I was not disappointed at all—it was absolutely delicious! When I opened the curry, one of the first things I noticed was that there was no oil floating on top (as you can see in the picture). This is a big deal, as I've found that 99% of curries in the past have that oily layer. The onion bhajis were crispy and excellent, and the chapatti was just your standard fare but good nonetheless. I can't wait to try more dishes from their menu—this place is definitely a must-visit!

I just moved to the area and discovered this hidden gem! I ordered several items for takeaway, and everything was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it!
