Active shooter scene. Fortunately not inside but a few stores down. Manager did a great job of keeping people calm. 9 mgr. Also had an unarmed swat instructor on hand who was vigilant in checking on the security for us.

I'm a huge fan of Tanger! Most of the stores have decent prices compared to whole sale! It's really all about the shopping experience for me! You're surrounded by nice quality stores, it's outdoors and there are touches of nature all throughout the outlet mall, including fountains greenery and trees. There are a few different food options but I recommend eating before or after coming here!

Many many stores and it is possible to fine very good deals if you shop wisely, use coupons, etc. There is almost no food so make sure you are not hungry when you go and be sure to go during less busy days and times. Parking can be absolutely horrible during peek seasons.

Tanger has improved since my last visit. You have options for food now and the variety of stores has improved as well. Looks like cutting Jeffersonville and focusing on this area has improved business as well.

Parking can be confusing and every store closes about an hour early for whatever reason. Avoid the “as seen on tv” store next to the playground area at all costs!! We bought a Melissa and Doug fabric hand puppet for my daughter only to find that it was infested with bugs. My daughter was bit several times and we had to hire and exterminator before I felt comfortable in the house afterwards.
