Groucho's Deli - Summerville

They have some really good hot sandwiches. I would like to see an Au Jus for dipping. Right now they have their own sauces but we were not the biggest fan of them. Service is as expected in today's times.

We ordered a Turkey Reuben and an STP Dipper with the Fiesta Power Blend and the Famous Potato Salad. The sandwiches were overall tasty (the bread seemed past its prime on the Reuben), but the sides were almost inedible. The potato salad had clearly been mixed up wrong… it had WAY too much herbs and after a few chews it became so bitter we could barely stand to swallow it. The fiesta power blend was literally just ONE Brussels sprout, ONE piece of kale, 2 corn kernels, and a few small pieces of other veggies (SEE PIC); there was ZERO Italian dressing or lime juice, as described on the menu. This was my first time ever visiting Groucho’s and I’m extremely disappointed. Won’t be back again anytime soon!

Don’t order from them if you use Uber Eats. I paid $12.00 plus whatever Uber fee and tip to get the food here. Literally might be like 3 pieces of roast beef on this. Keep slacking peoples food because they aren’t in front of you. You’ll go down like the other ones that want to charge more and give less. Might as well of gone to Subway. At least there you get what you pay for.

My family who live in the area advised me against going here, but since I enjoy the other Groucho locations, I decided to give it a shot. I tried to order online, but encountered an error. Then I attempted to call, but no one picked up. After waiting in line, when I finally reached the counter, the staff member just walked away without saying a word. I stood around for a few minutes before ultimately leaving. Save your money and go to Kicken Chicken instead.

I been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time so finally today 10/5/22 I go in there after a hard day of work my server was very friendly and patient it was my first time there . I sat at the bar and the Food was smelling so good I couldn’t wait to eat suddenly I started smelling a burning smell then I heard the sound of scraping the young man making my sandwich ask a young lady to come over and she told him just flip the bread and put it on there so I asked is that the club she said yes I said if it’s burnt I don’t want it she said it’s not food came bread was brunt I sent it back they remade the sandwich way smaller than before and the girl threw it on the counter I politely got up and left I will not spend my hard earned money and be treated poorly shame on you employees need to held accountable for the service they give weather they are serving or behind the counter
