Fast Break Lounge - Summerville

We signed up to be members there, and went to play once but every table was taken and so was every seat. I'm still not clear on what and when there is an opportunity to play if you're not in the APA league or tournament or on a team. That being said there was a friendly bartender who walked us through the whole process, and it's still confusing. Not sure if there's room for the average pool player here, but there seems to be some times where there's no scheduled events. The crowd is very old-school and reminds me of a movie about Pool from the 70s.

This is a private pool club that is very welcoming to anyone interested in joining. It frequently hosts APA and other league games. The staff is friendly, and they offer a good selection of beers, drinks, and tasty food!

To make matters worse, when I handed my credit card to the bartender, he didn’t process it correctly, as I later learned from my bank. I then used my debit card, and my friend covered the tip, so I didn’t expect to be charged for it. However, when I checked my account today, I saw a charge of $75, and then another one for $125.46. I also didn’t receive a receipt for my transactions, and by the time I got my credit card back, someone had already attempted to charge $120 and $150 on it, which was declined due to insufficient funds—I only had $80 available. As for customer service, it was abysmal. I’ve trained people in customer service myself, having rewritten the manual for Toyota between 1997 and 2001, and I can confidently say this establishment fails to meet even the most basic standards.

I absolutely adore the atmosphere here. The bartenders are exceptional!

Terrible place. They don't mention that you need a membership until after your money gets eaten by the poorly maintained pool table that won't give you the balls. What a joke!
