Carolina Crab House - Summerville

I thoroughly enjoyed this place! It was clean and the food was amazing! And we had an awesome server whose name was Alex.

Terrible food, terrible service and not family friendly. To preface my wife and I love seafood and have been to almost every boil serving restaurant in the low country. To start we got cajun fries to start they came out quickly but were luke warm at best and not spicy. As we waited for our seafood boils we talked about maybe bringing our kids after seeing the cute coloring pages on the walls but as we kept waiting we listened to the music that was playing. Alot of profanity including suck a d totally uncensored. Definitely do not bring kids. When our food arrived we dug In and quickly thought the shrimp were difficult to peel and they were chewy and undercooked. When we moved on the the crab legs we had the same issue. Most of the meat was still stuck to the shell and had to be scrapped off. I brought all of this to the attention of our server and asked him to take off my wife 's meal (she barley ate anything) and he flatly said no and started at me. We paided and left. Absolutely awful restaurant all around. We will not return.

Went here yesterday, I had the 1lb of snow crab. Later that night I felt off but nothing too bad. I have been ill all day today. Im never coming back and neither is my boyfreind.

Everything here was very detailed! The younglings would love all the pictures on the wall. Excellent service, food so delicious.

The food wasn 't good at all. Our shrimp was very hard to peel and rubbery. The crab was nearly impossible to get out of the shell. The meat was all stuck to the shell and shredded. All the food seemed to be either undercooked or overcooked. Even the corn wasn 't good. The Cajun fries didn 't taste like Cajun at all.Service was not great. Our server offered us another meal, which we didn 't want. He wouldn 't take off the charge for the food we didn 't eat because it was so bad.We 've almost taken our kids here a few times, and I 'm very glad we didn 't, because the music playing was vulgar and full of profanity. Call me old-fashioned, but I don 't think I should be hearing the f word, n word, and suck my d playing in a restaurant with a kids ' menu at 6pm.
