The pork was well-prepared, although I didn't find much smoky flavor. I enjoyed the baked beans, and the potato salad was different from what I'm used to, but I started to like it the more I ate. They only have two BBQ sauces: sweet and tangy, and I went with the tangy one. I could have done without the disc of white bread – I would have preferred Texas toast instead. There were several tempting desserts on offer, but I managed to resist them. The menu has enough variety to lure me back in the future to try other items, especially those my fellow diners recommended. For the $10 I spent on my meal and a soda, I left feeling quite satisfied.

The extended smoking time on the meat at La BBQ imparts deep, rich flavors that emanate from the smoker. However, it's the variety of sauces that perfectly complement the meat selections, elevating this establishment above most other barbecue spots in Southern Alabama.

Fantastic grill! This might be the best in Alabama, including Birmingham! Be sure to try the cornbread with the jalapeño sandwich. Just remember to bring cash or a checkbook, as they don't accept cards.

Best brisket anywhere with very competitive trips, many pages to choose, and bar-b-que cut or cut. also the customer service is very good. sauce is very good and unique.
