Bidrage med feedbackI use this restaurant every summer vacation. The performance of the chef who cooks right in front of you is wonderful, and the taste is consistently delicious. The waiters' smiles are also lovely, and their explanations of the dishes are perfect. I would like to use it again next year.
The atmosphere and taste were good, but I was bothered by the lack of friendliness from the chef in this teppanyaki restaurant. At the very least, they should provide explanations about the ingredients used in the dishes.
Irodori was the final restaurant we visited during our trip to Osaka and it was definitely worth both time and money visiting the place. Located on the first floor of Hyatt, Osaka Bay, it is a little out of the way to visit as there isn't too much to do around the area. Being a restaurant in a hotel, the staff was exceptionally as to be expected from such establishments. We opted for the most basic course, although there were more extravagant courses available, and an a la carte menu if you so desire. 3300Y 5500Y per The food can be described as Modern Japanese; it was Japanese food with some creative ingredients mixed in. The presentation was mostly traditional, not of molecular cuisine that you might expect from more experimental restaurants that you can find today. Other reviews have mentioned the rice being exceptionally great here; we must say that we agree wholeheartedly. All of the items on the course were great, well balanced and not lacking in amount either. The Cosmo Tower is within 15 min walking distance, so dinner and a visit to the tower after dinner could make for a great romantic night out. Thank you for the wonderful experience, we would definitely want to visit again if we go back to Osaka!
I requested lunch, but the portion sizes of each dish were small. I couldn't tell what the main dish was, and I didn't know what the seasonal dish was. I felt that the prices were high. I don't plan on going back again.
On this day, I was supposed to go to the Shin Kabukiza theater with him to see a play. Before that, I searched a lot on the internet for lunch and decided on this restaurant because I thought it would be good for my boyfriend who loves Japanese food. There are three types of lunch, and I chose the middle course. The seats were comfortable and it was a comfortable and luxurious lunch. It's been a long time since I've had draft beer at lunch. However, the appetizers seemed a little slow to arrive. Then, the next main dish didn't come out...Maybe there was some kind of mistake? The person sitting next to us came after us, but finished and left before us (lol) The food looked beautiful and tasted delicious. In the end, the meal took about 1 hour and 15 minutes, which far exceeded my expectations.
