Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Never go to Cracker Barrel and say oh I want the sirloin. I order mine medium rare and it came out well done. So I sent it back and the next one that came out was completely rare just seared on the sides, not seasoned at all, and it was still kinda cold to. I don’t know if the cook was just mad that I sent it back or what… It was by far the worst experience

Friendly people. Great go-to stop as always. I've a few issues... I'm not sure why, but someone has decided to put flood lights IN the dining area, and they shine right in our eyes. Not very inviting. I had to ask for a different table. I also am not a fan of serving alcohol at Cracker Barrel. My family is expanding. We have memories of going to Cracker Barrel going back decades. Now I'm wondering if we should stop that family tradition.

I took family there cause I recommend now I regret telling them bout this cracker barrel....this one in suplur Louisiana is the worst service I had in a while....the sever act like she knew what she was doing till she messed up that had a attitude bout it.... I ask for manager she had to fix order three times food was cold have burnt fries to kids wrong...food came out wrong. I WILL NOT EVER COME TO THIS CRACKER BARREL EVER...

We were a bit uncertain about dining here due to the mixed reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was delicious. Thank you for making our morning enjoyable as we traveled with our family. *RV friendly.

I'm not an expert on chicken dumplings, but I don't think they should be as pale as paper and have gravy that resembles plain water. My camera may not be great, but you can clearly see on the left side of the picture how bad this dish was. I also ordered meatloaf to take to work, which was decent. It could have benefited from a little more bread crumbs to offset the mushiness, but the flavor was good. The sides were nice as well. I called the restaurant, and the manager mentioned she would check the kitchen to see what the dumplings looked like. Honestly, I don't care what they look like now—my meal was ruined, and I could have shown it to her. Overall, I'd recommend going somewhere else. The little casino across the street has excellent food.
