Hampton Inn Baton Rouge Denham Spr

We had a king suite with a very comfortable bed and a blanket in the closet that we very much appreciated. The bathroom shower had the barn doors which were nice, but the shower fixtures were installed on the wrong wall. You have to step into the shower reach the farthest wall to turn on the water the shower head was stuck in one position. Other than that, it was a nice stay. Breakfast is from 6am to 10am and I mean 10 sharp! Anyone straggling in at 9:55 is going to be sorely disappointed. They had a full house the 3 nights we were there and the parking lot was packed.

Another update, the pool has been upgraded and opened up. See pictures. Update, when working around Baton Rouge this my go to hotel, the upgrades are very nice. Staff is friendly. Hampton is a favorite. Everything was as expected. Had a suite and it was two rooms and very nice.

Clean, great staff, amazing make it yourself breakfast! We will be staying at Hampton inns from now on!

Place looked a little run down, could barely understand the front desk person

When we arrived we had to wait almost one hour to check in because the employee did not know how to do something with the computer to make the room keys/cards. The room was clean but had a musky smell. There was not enough lights in the room which made it hard to see and was very aggravating to my family. We spoke to others staying there and they were also aggravated with lack of lights in the rooms. Also this hotel does allow dogs which I am not fond of. I did hear a dog barking no stop one time as we were leaving our room and I was very thankful that it was at the opposite end of the hall from us. If I would have been in one of the rooms near that dog I would have had to find another hotel.
