Maddog's Bowl - Sullivan

With the new change of ownership, the menu for the pages, no senior menu, no half-courses like Manhattan have changed. Only me and my six-year-old granddaughter were $30. It was a taco salad and a cheeseburger, fries and drinks. It just seems like that.

I’m giving this restaurant four stars because it seems very popular, but the communication over the phone could be improved. We called ahead to check if any lanes were open and were told it would be open at 3:00. However, after driving 30 minutes to get there, we found out that no lanes were actually available.

I ordered a half portion of the beef Manhattan, and it was absolutely delicious! It was the perfect size for me. I will definitely be returning!

The staff is exceptionally friendly. The only reasons I gave this place 4 stars were the worn-out shoes and the loud music; we were seated right under the speaker. However, they did turn down the volume after we requested it twice—it just wasn’t our type of music. That said, the staff was wonderful, and they promptly brought out our drinks and breadsticks.
