The Polarbar - Sulligent

I recently visited an old-fashioned dairy bar and had a satisfying meal. I enjoyed a large cheeseburger with onion rings and opted for chocolate soft serve ice cream in a cone. The menu was typical of a dairy bar and brought back fond memories of the one that used to be in my hometown of Hamilton, AL. The service was quick and friendly, and although it had been a couple of years since my last visit, I plan on returning. The prices were reasonable, with an average cost of $10-20 per person for lunch. Overall, I would rate the food and service as a 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere as a 3 out of 5. I highly recommend trying their cheeseburger.

This restaurant has the potential to become popular, but like many others, it needs some improvements. The food was delicious, but the owner should work on preventing teenagers from loitering at the bar without ordering anything. Our waitress seemed more focused on socializing with the teens than attending to us.

The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Old fashioned dairy bar. The food was good, I had a large cheeseburger and onion rings and chocolate ice cream (soft serve) in a cup or cone, I had a cone. Sorry I didn't get a pic of the menu but it was about what you'd expect at a dairy bar, I love this kind of food and wish we still had a dairy bar in Hamilton AL. Where I live, ours closed a few years ago. The service was fast and friendly. First time I been here in a couple of years, I'll be coming back.

Great place to watch sports and the food is awesome. I don't drink but they have a really nice and full bar. Kid-friendliness: Great family dining area and Blue Bell ice cream.
