Cafe Alte Wache - Sulingen

Stopover for gastric cable searched breakfast, googled and from Cafe Alte Wache. The choice is good, tasty, we noticed.

The Old Guard is a café with delicious cakes and coffee. There is a daily breakfast buffet that is solid but not exceptional and also affordable. The staff is usually friendly, on weekends, but sometimes overwhelmed with the number of guests and the buffet is not always filled. The location is very central in Sulingen. The location is beautiful and welcoming. It is possible to sit outside, which is pleasant in summer. Due to the central location it can be very loud by street noise. The toilets of the café are unfortunately in the basement, which is a problem for the disabled. There are occasional events like flashcake evenings.

We went to the Sunday breakfast at the Alte Garde in Sulingen! Rare breakfast! Nothing to recommend!

We were on a shopping trip at Lloyd and there shopping hungry we wanted to take some coffee and cake here and laughed at the flame cake offer. So we re-discussed at short notice. That was a good decision, because the flame cakes were delicious especially the sweet one with Calvados! The next time we'll be happy to see again...

Reserved 1 week before, the breakfast buffet should start at 8.30. Surprisingly, we could get in at 8:15. The rolls are already on the go and have to be there. Then 10 minutes later on request: the rolls do not arrive before 9 a.m. So, breakfast without rolls, how are you? I guess you should be the rule rather than an exception in the Cafe Alte Wache.
