Sonic Drive-in - Sugar Land

I was just here Sunday night and bought 2 slushys. Today the employee said the slushy machine has been broken for 2 days. I ordered a sundae and the serving was so small that I actually asked her why it was so little? The sundae is $1 more than most places and I got very very little. I will not be returning to this location. I don't understand how a Sonic restaurant can go 2 days without their slushy machine and it worked Sunday night around 9:00 pm. I was taking my daughter to get a slushy because the ac went out at her job and she had been sweating all day. She didn't get her slushy because we went home.

Tater tots sometimes warm and soggy. Chicken dinner yesterday same; warm chicken, tater tots were soggy and the toast was inedible. I was very disappointed. I won’t get my chicken from there again.Ashley, my server was so sweet! Did a great job. Loved her. I told her to make sure she got her tip. My meal was 10.71; I tipped her 2.00. She said she would get it on her paycheck! I was so angry! Sonic is doing what a lot of places are doing now when you put your tip on your credit card. Ashley won’t get the full tip; Sonic will take a portion of her tip for taxes! My hairstylist has the same problem so I tip her in cash now. I will tip in cash at all drive-ups now too. Tip is a gift; NOT income! The servers make very little in salary; they make their money from tips. So, folks, PLEASE, I am asking to make the servers know your appreciation; use loose change if you have to! A dollar is a dollar; NOT . .67! Ashley, you are the best! I’ll be back soon and you will get cash from now on!Sonic, PLEASE serve fresh tater tots!

I love the selections and the carports with the old school feel. I wish speed and comprehension of your request was better but overall they are very polite and memorable people.

I ordered the quarter pound burger from the discount menu and a small order of tots. It was around 2:30pm. My burger was hot, very juicy and seasoned well and the bun was soft, and the tots were hot and tasted fresh. I ate in my car and, before I drove away, I buzzed them again to tell them the meal was truly excellent and I thanked them for that. Service was also excellent and I tipped them well.
