Best Choice Pizza - Suffield

When I returned to our table, I was greeted by a fly the size of my head buzzing around. I grabbed an unused pizza box and tried to swat it away—it felt like a battle with an unwelcome intruder that just wouldn’t give up. After five minutes of this ridiculous struggle, I ended up cutting the box into three pieces to make it easier to swat the fly. At that point, my wife couldn’t bring herself to eat. I couldn't help but laugh at how bad the experience was turning out to be. Eventually, I discarded the three pieces of the box along with my ongoing frustrations. A little later, one of the older gentlemen brought out our food. As we prepared to leave with our takeout, the owner asked how the food was. I honestly replied that it was fine but mentioned the overwhelming presence of flies. I don’t think he appreciated my candid feedback, but honestly, he should have taken on that fly himself—it was massive! It seems like those flies might even be sharing the rent around here! Just do yourself a favor and skip this restaurant.

The place had no air conditioning or fans, except for a huge, dusty fan in the cooking area that hadn’t been cleaned in years, blowing germs all over the food. I was sweating the entire time. The tables were all filthy, and there was a fossilized burger on my bench that had likely been there for ages. Flies were swarming everywhere. I ordered a medium bacon pizza but was charged $12, even though their menu clearly states that a large three-topping pizza costs $9.99. To top it off, the pizza itself was among the worst I’ve ever had, made with very low-quality ingredients. It reminded me of the pizza I had in middle school, and the cheese tasted like old tires. I genuinely want to support small businesses, but this one doesn’t seem to make any effort to earn customers. It’s dirty and the food is terrible. I eat out frequently across the country, and this is one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I hope they can make improvements in the future.

I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant unless it happens to be your only option—preferably when you're feeling desperate, tipsy, and it’s late at night with nothing else to eat. In my latest experience, they messed up my order, and when I called to address it, they informed me they were closed and would fix it the next day. I reached out multiple times over several days to get a resolution, but they feigned ignorance each time. To top it off, they charged me for the incorrect order. Overall, this place is terrible.
