Satsuki Restaurant - Subiaco

Overly priced and the super small portion. Taste is good but just not value for money. The staff that took out order, kept on trying to push for sale. Recommending set menu, overly priced items and even push for bottles of sake and etc. Table and seating position set was awkward and we can hardly talk to each other. There were 7 of us (4 adults and 3 children). Ordered grilled octopus ($19) and serve portion was just a piece of tentacles with flooded with sauces (as per pic). Followed a recommended dish from the staff, beef soup with radish. Just tiny portions of beef slides with 2 pieces of radish. ($21) Overall disappointing and what a ripped off ! Definitely won't be back again.

Friendly and diligent service, the beef tataki, apparently their popular dish, was nice, and so was the battered sushi and sashimi. Large servings and their set menus are certainly worth it!

Went to satsuki for dinner on Tuesday. Food was great. All comes out promptly even though it started to get busy. We had the 4 course meal for $75, great value for money as it comes with 2 wine glass or 1 glass and 1 sake tasting. I recommend the sake tasting!! First 2 course is good, fresh and tasty. The main was good to! Dessert was ok..(wasn't to our tastebuds). Overall great experience.

I thought I would give this place a try again after last time being sadly dissapointed. I won't be coming back. Only 2 other tables in the place yet our food was delayed, they are more interested in pumping out UBER orders than dine in customers. You realised the delay and gave us free miso doesn't really make up for it. The octopus was over cooked and way too chewy, the scallops were drowning in oil. Had to wait for a wait staff member even though there was no one to serve. Won't be back now after 2 disappointing meals.

Nice little suburb jam, the food and sake was fantastic, love the two ladies at front house, always been caring and helpful. Sashimi was extremely fresh and well cut and even come with pink snapper and scollops and surf clams. One of the Top Japanese restaurant in perth on my list:)
