Enjoy the food in the restaurant. Pleasant atmosphere. The waiters and captains were friendly and attentive. Food quality is consistently good. I enjoy their seaweed and small shrimps and drunk squid catchers the best. Lor mee and her 2 shrimp soup in the bamboo tub are also very popular.

Delicious food in Putien! Price is quiet expensive but worth. Use good quality ingredients to cook. Friendly staff with good service. Benefit for an attempt by Chinese restaurant

Perfect place to celebrate a few birthdays! The food was delicious and didn't disappoint. Fish dishes were especially well executed and everything else complicated them perfectly. Very accommodating staff took care of the surprise cake and left us with some goodie bags. A little hidden on the 2nd floor, but worth the visit. Follow my adventures IG @blingless

I can’t recall how many times I visited Putien, but the impression is the food quality dropped. No doubt their signature Heng Hwa Bee Hoon still ok, but the stir fried yam is harder a bit, the intestine/ bian rou soup out of stock, the fish taste so so, even herbal bamboo prawn soup also so so only (it was great). It’s not worth it.

Overprice place with slow waiter service. Just ordering warm water they serve you slowly (30mins just to get a glass of water). Place is noisy with no proper dampening installed. Lots of echo and it gets too noisy when it is full house. Food is so so, abit like hokkien home cook style. Sometimes you need to queue during the weekends, but this is not the reason I gave the 2 star. It's mostly the environment which is uncomfortable and the portion size is too small. If you are a big eater and expecting big plates this place will disappoint you.
