Very Shanghai retro decoration. Great for Instagram photos. Food wise ok only. The tea mug stream rice (salted egg winter veg pork) tasted bland. The lychee pork was so so. The abc soup and pepper pig stomach soup were not bad but lacking the kick. Overall it tasted like a healthy homecook food without msg.

Would never ever return after visiting 3 times. Lady boss attitude and service is just horrible super unfriendly and rude. All of my 3 visits have been the same, thought have to give ppl a chance or two cos sometimes ppl are just having a bad day that day but no, sadly all 3 times when I was there, she was the same. The husband is friendly but sorry can’t compensate the terrible service from the lady. For me no matter how good your food can be but if your service is like this, I’d never return. For patrons who have never encountered her, good for you or if you think otherwise of her, then she must having double standard treatments for her customers.

Food taste good, not too salty. Environment very old fashion, i believe boss has put a lot of afford on it. They even decorated toilet according to the same theme. Staff is friendly. Price is reasonable.

How after living in USJ for the past 21 years do I not know of this little hidden gem?? I loved it! The food, the service,the ambiance,the deco. Everything was perfect
