Guess the cook (Lord Giboin) since his time in the crown in Waldenbuch. Since the beginning of August 2016 he has taken over the barrel in Degerloch. I was there twice and was very positively surprised. The dishes offered were consistently very tasty and the service has also adapted to the high level (Restaurant Leiterin top). As pleasant, I felt that the good-bourgeois ambience of the barrel was preserved, and that the new team still gave noticeable positive impulses. Comment: Absolutely recommended reservation required.

Probably I only feel challenged here, as this truly harmonious traditional guesthouse with emphasis on well-kept, Swabian cuisine, on the outside as well as inside, has never been noticed!! Who has not been here so far has missed what are my unfortunately only in the 4 stars that have been awarded after! , because from 02.08.16 there is a change of the night with at least the entry of Allerwelt's Schicki Micki menu [here link] .
