Teddy's Tavern - STROUDSBURG

I can't say enough about this little bar. This is big enough to have a pool table, dart board and big jukebox. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. If you're a NY Rangers fan than you need to go. The place has only one ingenious collector's item after the other. This includes 2 tables that have a glass cover over hundreds of hockey cards. There are drinks specialties when the Rangers play, but even without specialties the prices are great. There is a great selection of beers including IPAs. The food is delicious and also available at great prices. Can you say I loved this place or what... highly recommend. See for the Playoffs...Go Rangers!!!!

I've been here for years. The food is fantastic and it is a large small diving spot and a great place to watch hockey. Try the cheese steak or wings and my favorite is the black and blue.

Wow! Amazing food for a small bar. Mouthwater burgers and cheese steaks. and did I mention the really good prices? You have to pass when you're in the area.

Before many moons, our local cable provider removed the MSG channel as an option for us and I lost the ability to see my favorite hockey team games. At the time I was very in hockey and sports in general and it was a big blow for me. Someone told me that in our Poconos area there was a bar/restaurant that ventilated all New York Rangers games and also had quite decent food at good prices. That seemed right. No. At Teddy's University you will find extremely competitive food and drinks in a warm and comfortable atmosphere with a constant stream of sports around you. Whether your choice for poison beer, mixed liqueurs, shots, or these funky flavor atomizers are all kids cycle over... You can find it at Teddy 's (and more than likely cheaper than anywhere else). They also have very competitive prices food and as far as I personally are the owners of a (if not THE) best cheese steaks in the area. The TU Cheese Steak is sincerely one of the best I ever had outside the city of Brotherly Love. Quality meat, a good amount of cheese, a very good role and a fantastic pimple. Who can't get behind it? From $7 (at least at the time of this post) with a very favorable option to add other items (must have these fried onions), this is one of the best offers in the Poconos. It doesn't stop. Teddy 's uses baked wings (which is quite rare for our area) and serves the sauces on the side so that they are not soggy. Many people go there strictly according to their love for the wings. There is a wing you dressed 'll even though if you're ready to try it! Teddy 's Wasabi Ginger wings are an incredible mix of flavors with some chopped Wasabi peas above. They are so good that they have won a local wing competition for four just years (I know that at least one person is right for them). They also have some large and juicy burgers as well as the locally famous three-bite, which is basically between the size of a slider and one fully on Cheeseburger. The property and staff at Teddy's are also almost incomparable. This is by no means saying that other local facilities do not have some excellent owners and employees (because they do), but the team of Teddy's fairly literally treats me as a family of day one. It is rare to find this kind of devotion to your craftsmanship and your customers and this comes from the current owner (Joey) all the way down, and even more importantly, previously taught by the late great Ronnie. Ronnie (Pops) was a very big guy who always did and gave everyone or something that needed help. He supervised many of the current bar/food staff in the Poconos area and his last year was a monumental blow for all local communities. It is a wonderful feeling to know that his legacy and compassion through Joey and all students of the game live that he now himself mentors. It's hard to find something here. From the excellent and fair food and drinks to the warmth and warmth of the staff it is very clear to see...Teddy 's University in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania Didn 't Suck!

One of the best kept bar secrets in the Stroudsburg area. Hidden from the foot traffic of Main street you can enjoy the hole in the wall bar feel with the class of the main street pub. You will always get great service and cold beer. Tv 's are always showing something good, and the bar games keep things entertaining. The grill puts out great food and you can 't beat the atmosphere. Once of the best spots in Stroudsburg!
