Compton's Pancake House - STROUDSBURG

I had the best pancakes ever! They were light and fluffy, and the apple and caramel topping was just the right amount— not too heavy at all. The bacon was cooked to perfection! Even the coffee was excellent, with no bitter aftertaste. I highly recommend Compton's!

I absolutely loved this restaurant! The interior was charming and exceptionally clean, which is very important to me. The menu was extensive, and the prices were reasonable. The staff made us feel as if we were long-time customers! Our waitress was fantastic; she attended to all our needs with a smile and a friendly demeanor. We didn’t wait long for our food, and there was plenty of it, all of it delicious. My only complaint was that my omelet came with raw onions, which I can't stand! However, I’ll definitely ask for sautéed onions next time. We all agreed that the food was so enjoyable that it’s worth making the hour-long trip back, especially since we discovered a fantastic thrift store nearby with great deals! Even though you may not remember us, we will certainly remember you, and we can’t wait to return for more wonderful food and company!

Absolutely a fantastic spot for breakfast. Just as the name implies, the pancakes are a must-try! They’re incredibly fluffy, light, and delicious. The service is excellent, and they even offer a nice discount for seniors.

Even though the place was busy on a Sunday around noon, they seated us promptly. The food came out pretty quickly and was absolutely delicious! The cheesecake and caramel pancakes were to die for. The bacon was crispy and the chicken strips werejuicy and flavorful. The potato pancakes were crispy and flavorful. The best breakfast I had in a while.

Delicious food!! Service was fast. Staff, super nice stopped by often to make sure you were all set everything you needed. Reasonable prices. I totally recommend this place.
