Pasticceria Bolongaro - STRESA

This cafe is opposite the ferry station in Stresa. The service was friendly and efficient. For a cafe so close to the town centre, the prices were very reasonable €2 for cappuccino, €1.50 water, lovely apple strudel €4. Great place to sit outside and people watch. There is indoor seating too.

Stopped for a drink this afternoon. Nice seating outside and tables inside. Very friendly service good prices. They have a light food menu overlooking the main street facing the lake. Traffic a bit noisy here though.

Lovely location directly opposite the ferry landing stage and well worth stopping off for either a coffee or cold drink, as well as snacks or a full meal.We had a couple of very nice meals here and used it as our mid-morning refreshment stop on a number of occasions. Good coffee, great service though the staff did not speak english very well, and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Inside, the café looks and feels like an old traditional bar/café with small tables along one wall, mostly used by locals. The toilets are clean and well maintained.

Bar with lake view. the best coffee. I tasted a biscuit of almonds with a convex. there are places both inside and outside
