White Wolf Inn - Stratton

The waiter was very nice, but unfortunately, the food was awful. My husband ordered the fisherman's platter, and everything on it tasted pre-frozen. We would have had a better meal by picking something from the frozen section at the supermarket. My pizza was also pre-frozen, just with the additional toppings I requested. We should have left the restaurant. Honestly, it was the worst meal I've ever had. It feels like the owners and chef have lost their passion for the restaurant business.

What a fantastic restaurant! The owner is a wonderfully charming lady, and I've never had a disappointing meal here. I always make it a priority to visit at least three times a year. Room quality: 5 stars. Service: 5 stars. Location: 5 stars. Hotel highlights: It's a quiet place.

A must-visit every time we come to Maine. The drive is relaxing and scenic and that alone is worth the trip. Then lunch and/or dinner in the restaurant is WONDERFUL! Perfect trip for anyone venturing into the heart of Maine. Walkability: Right down town onMain Street. Food drinks: The food is always wonderful and surprisingly inexpensive. I visited today with my daughters and we had a wonderful experience. I ordered the fried fiddleheads and the duck strips, while my youngest enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich with fries. The fries were fresh and cooked to perfection. My oldest daughter tried the cream cheese jalapeños, and everything was absolutely delicious! The service was outstanding; the gentleman who served us treated us like family. Overall, it was a fantastic meal at a great price!
