The Sunset - Strathroy

My wife, daughter, and I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, mushroom, cheese, and pepper omelette, and a cheeseburger at the restaurant. Both burgers came with fries, but we found that there was too much bun compared to the meat. The burgers were nicely presented but ultimately disappointing. The fries were not up to our expectations, especially considering the $3.25 price tag as an add-on. My daughter found her omelette to be bland, though she did enjoy the home fries that came with it. The waitress was slow to refill our drinks, and overall, we were not impressed with the dining experience. If we find ourselves in Strathroy again, we will look for another place to eat. Additionally, the restaurant's decor seemed outdated and could use a makeover.

I go for the liver and onions best in area. My mother is in a wheelchair and we had no problem getting in and seated. Traditional family style meal with dated decor. everything was clean staff was friendly.

The portions are small for the price charged, and the taste is just average. The dining room is cold and I had to wear my coat because it was very drafty.

We don't go there often but their food is quite good and a lot of seniors frequent there so it must be consistently good.

Sunset Restaurant has always been a family favourite. The staff are always friendly, food is delicious and we find pricing reasonable. Having 3 kids it's not always easy to find a restaurant that they all agree on, when I mention Sunset everyone is happy. My favourite is the spaghetti and meatballs, the kids love their chicken nuggets and fries. There is steak, fish, veal and more. If you want great food in a clean and relaxing setting make sure you visit the nice people at Sunset!
