The Good Kitchen - Strathfield

I think this place is reopened or refurbished, the owner did the best to ensure that we were satisfied with the food. he recommended a lunch special for 4, the pork and centuries a congee, brotsticks, steamed hem (amuse!, bark and Chinese brokkoli. really good price for delicious Cantonese cuisine!

I've been here for years. very consistent place to rely on for delicious Canto/Hk food. large selection of dresses on the menu, not fanned that keeps the dinge interesting. always new things to try, not that I tend. prices are standard. they also have quite good breakfast/Arvo special offers that are always a bargain.

Consistent hk style Chinese food. this is our place where we don't feel like cooking. for dinner we go for the set for 2 personen pick 2 dishes from the liste sweet reis supp complementarye.

I usually eat here for the afternoon tea from 2-5pm. The food is relatively cheap and the style of food is very similar to the ones you find in HK cafes. With the likes of instant noodles, French toast, rice rolls etc. accompanied with a free drink of red bean milk or milk tea. My friend rejected a free drink. HAHAHAHA

So Good kitchen is really the only other HK cafe contender in Hurstville. I have probably been here a few times but to be honest, i don't come here often. The food here is exactly what you expect from a HK cafe. The quality of food however, is quite average. I find the food to be marginally better at Sun Ming. The chef seems to be the same during the week making it quite consistent. The service and value is quite good too which makes it a good option from time to time.
