Bidrage med feedbackWe were staying next door in the Days Inn and opted to have breakfast in Harry Ramsden's as part of the package. Having eaten at other Harry Ramsden's and enjoyed the fish chips, we thought that breakfast here would be a very good. Sadly we were disappointed.Breakfast is served from 7am, so we arrived just after 7. There was only one member of staff serving and there was already a small queue as they could not cope with both taking the orders and serving the breakfasts. 10 minutes later another member of staff appeared and the queue started clearing. By the time we actually received our breakfasts and were able to sit down and eat we had been there for 25 minutes. The breakfast itself was Ok, but the sausages were cheap quality. Overall disappointing for the quality and service.
We were staying in the Days Inn at the M40 Welcome Break. We went to Harry Ramsden's for a Fish and Chip supper, it was excellent. The next morning we went there for breakfast. Full English, I had extra black pudding. Only complaint was that the baked beans were luke warm.
The service was decent, but the food was terrible! The pie was edible but seemed to have been sitting out for a while. The mushy peas were too watery. The chips were some of the worst I've ever had, with a lot of black and green pieces. I will not be returning.
During my visit to the M40 southbound services, I received friendly and efficient customer service from Julio. The portion of fish and chips with mushy peas was generous and delicious, accompanied by a wonderful curry sauce. There was plenty of seating available to enjoy my meal as well.
The sausages here were very nice, they looked a little pre cooked but with the bacon and the fresh bread it was a very nice breakfast. The coffee was pretty decent too and served by a friendly lady even though it looked like she ate most of the sausages.
