Arrow Mill - Stratford-on-Avon

This restaurant is a great local spot that we love visiting for special occasions. We have been coming here for years and it is always a treat. Unfortunately, my recent experience on my birthday was not as enjoyable. It was a very busy evening leading up to Christmas, but the service was severely lacking. We stood at the bar waiting to be served and felt invisible. We don't mind waiting when it's busy, but a simple acknowledgment and apology for the wait would have been appreciated. The table service was also poor, with 3 different waiters serving us. We had to ask to order food, inquire about our mains as it took a long time, and request the bill at the end. We decided not to order dessert due to the frustrating service. It seems that the restaurant needs to work on improving their level of service, as this issue has been raised in multiple reviews. Perhaps more staff training is needed? The owner was pleasant and welcoming, but it seems that staff morale may be low, leading to the poor service. A good waiter should be attentive and engage with customers to enhance their dining experience, but we felt ignored most of the time and had to ask for assistance.

My husband and I have eaten here many times and always promised ourselves an overnight stay …wow…what a beautiful room and view to die for …great service , as always…fabulous food …even got a private sitting room for guests staying over…what a wonderful idea . ..cannot find a single fault with the Arrow Mill …definitely be back. Thank you for kick starting our Christmas

Lovely old mill property . Great atmosphere inside and conservatory area outside in the garden for warmer months. Food is good something for everyone. This is situated close to Stratford on Avon.

My husband surprised me with a pre-birthday lunch at this restaurant, and it was fantastic. The rooms were beautifully decorated for Christmas, the food was delicious, and the staff were outstanding. The building is lovely and the surrounding area is picturesque. We will definitely be visiting again.

My husband and daughters birthday beautiful place lovely good . Evening totally ruined by poor service in all areas staff not interested in giving us any form of service . We would have had another bottle of wine or more drinks maybe a dessert or coffee but ignored . No smiles or even asking if we needed anything else . We had to ask for the bill it was plonked down on the table and we had to wait at least another 15 mins until we asked if we could pay .
