The Buck-a-neer - Stratford

I have went to Buck-a-Neer for 30+ years. The food was always fantastic and the service was consistent regardless of the waitress. This last experience, I will never return. We recently celebrated our 25th Anniversary there with a large group of people. Most of us ordered the special (all you can eat steak and shrimp) and the food was good. However you had to wait 20-30 minutes for another plate (all you can eat) and it only came out with 2 small pieces of steak and 2 shrimp. We seen other tables getting platters of refills. A couple other people ordered other items that were either cold/overdone. Our waitress was rude. She didn't ask if we wanted any dessert or refills and we felt like we were an inconvenience the entire night. We had to flag her down to get service. We were embarrassed to treat our family and friends to a night out with such poor service and so/so food.

Great specials and even better staff. Bar is well stocked and we'll versed in everything from kiddie cocktails to adult ice cream favorites. Reservations are recommended, it gets crowed often! Parking: Parking in the back as well Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps at all doors inside

We just went to have dinner. My husband ordered a King cut Prime Rib dinner. I ordered the Queen Cut. When the meals came it was clear that his prime rib was smaller than mine. We pointed it out the server right way, and they just told us the order was correct. After saying no it was the wrong cut, another server came by and while trying to fix the issue, made us feel like we were wrong but they would discount his meal to the queen price. If they had just taken the meal back to the kitchen right way and made it right, but the fact that both servers made us feel like we were wrong. We will not be going back even though we really do like the food and the bar staff.

I was very disappointed with the food. I had a King Prime Rib. It was poorly seasoned, tough, and not cooked how i ordered it. and my baked sweet potato was very hard.

Great prime rib. And wonderful wait ress. Aerial is the best
