Bidrage med feedbackI had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The older gentleman working there seemed to have no regard for customer service. When confronted about the issues, he feigned not to understand English. Additionally, the food was underwhelming; the chicken was especially dry.
I visited this restaurant for the buffet close to closing time, about 30 minutes before they shut down. The selection was standard, featuring a variety of vegetables and meats, including tikka masala, goat curry, and tandoori chicken. Unfortunately, by the end of the meal, the vegetables and naan had become quite dry and soggy. My favorite dish was the goat curry, while the tikka was just average. Overall, I would prefer to have fewer dishes of higher quality. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly, and the buffet included a complimentary drink, like a small mango lassi.
Gagan Palace has been one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the Stratford/Voorhees, NJ area for many years, and I can't believe I haven't shared my thoughts about it until now! Each time I’ve dined in, the service has been exceptional; the staff is friendly, courteous, and dedicated to ensuring a wonderful dining experience. The food itself is truly authentic. My go-to dishes include Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Shrimp (or Chicken) Saag (with curried spinach), Biryani, and Meat Samosas, all of which are always fresh and well-seasoned. Today, I decided to use Grub Hub for delivery, and I was pleased with the choice! Gagan Palace is located in a shopping plaza in Stratford, directly across from the PATCO High-Speed Line on one side and along the bustling White Horse Pike (Route 30) on the other. It's easy to miss if you’re not paying attention, so make sure you slow down and treat yourself to some truly fantastic Indian food!
Went to try this Indian place today. The food was ok but not made with TLC. I had the goat chili masala. The sauce was good but the goat needed more time to cook and become tender. It was very tough. I have had goat dishes before at other Indian restaurants that were tender this was not: I brought it to the waiter and he was very nice and understanding and accommodating. He offered to make me a lamb chili masala to take home with me to try. My wife had the chicken tikka masala. She thought it was ok as it didn't have an authentic texture. It seemed they thickened it with flour. The vegetable Briyani was also good. It is unfortunate the food is not great! The service is as very friendly and good. Their restaurant was large and can hold many people but they need work and quality for their food.
Dinner was delicious and the spice level was exactly as ordered. The portions were huge... I highly recommend.
