Terasse des Rohans - Strasbourg

Nice location. Nice outside terrace. Kuchen was good. I had a beer in an dirty glass. No foam. A f...in’ disgrace for someone who hosts guests!

After our Batorama trip we stopped here to have a drink and something to eat. The tarte flambée was very delicious. You can also have some drinks and sandwiches for take away and the prices for these are really okay in comparison to other shops...in touristic areas. This location is situated near the river Ill, very closed to the start/end point of the Batorama trips. It is just some meters away from the cathedral. But you feel like being more than just some meters away from the main touristic area of Strasbourg. It is a pleasant and quiet place.

This place is located just at the entrance/exit of the boot tour. Somehow not very busy place at this time of the day on eastern Monday. All of us four sat at a double-table but within minutes were told by the waiter that...this place is aimed for group and took one chair away. We first didn't understand why he mentioned that, and stayed sitting. After minutes he came to us and, impudent, asked us impatiently to move to the next table We simply decided to then leave this place and mentioned him that isn't a way to treat the ones who would have left him a bill... he remained impudent in his answers. This is a NO GO. We just went to the next corner and found in a busy restaurant (cafe de Rohan)(a different restaurant still) a double table and were served within a short period of time by a friendly lady. No wonder why the other place was empty impolite personal working there.

As many will attest, this is where you can enjoy a beverage while you await your designated time for your Batorama cruise. Cheers!

The location is good with a large outdoor area of many tables right alongside the canal, and underneath some nice trees. It is located behind the Palace Rohan. We had a ham and cheese sandwich which was decent and a bowl of ice cream which...was over priced with very small scoops of ice cream. Wouldn’t eat there again.
