Bidrage med feedbackTypical McDonalds, but in an Alsatian half-timbered house; a must-try just for the local atmosphere of the outside!
I was there on September 6th at 9pm, and I can only say one thing: nesting, clean tables as well as benches and chairs the ground flooded with sweet and sticky drinks, a real course of the fighter to try to eat in a place still "clean" the meal: it's mac do. we love or not ...
It was a bit of a blessing that i found this Mcdonalds because i had a huge craving for a quater pounding and bacon. Walked around 2 KM from the city centre to get to the restraunt, very cool mcdonalds would happily return!
As is the case everywhere in France, you must be a paying customer at a given location to "go" or must pay to use a stand along restroom. After a 2 hour train ride to visit Strasbourg, my wife and I needed to freshen up before our walk to Petite France, so we stopped here, right outside the train station. While the staff was multi lingual and very friendly and the food was as good as any other McDonald's, that where the positive ends. The credit card machine failed (twice) to take my transaction, so I paid cash only to find that my credit card was actually billed for each of the failed transactions. The bathrooms were below marginal - the man's room door was broken (so no code was actually even needed), reeked of urine, and had diarrhea all over the toilet seat. The ladies room door lock was functional, but the stall door was not, so my wife was barged in on twice. Her experience was made even worse by the fact that neither ladies toilet had a seat attached. Overall, big fail.
I won't say anyting about the burgers in themselves: Mac Donald is what it is, and in France their burgers are a lot worse than in the US.But I find the hygiene or rather lack thereof especially appaling, as in most Mac Donald's in France, again. But this one in particular is far from inviting. There's a Burger King around the corner that's lightyears better. I don't trust them on hygiene on any level, it's a decision based on what my eyes perceived.
