Nice enough interior and service but the small vegetarian breakfast is not worth the money. Half a plate of baked beans (mostly sauce) 1 sausage. 1 tomato and an egg, i slice toast and hot drink. Wheres the hash brown and mushrooms? Wouldn't go again Vegetarian options: you need to go into a wetherspoons and order their small Veggie breakfast and learn from it Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £1–10

Needs updating, old worldly type. My friend wanted a snack, couldn't fault the service, friendly staff, etc. Just outdated furniture but very clean. Vegetarian options: Veggie breakfasts. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We like picwicks it does good breakfast ,is shady place to sit outside with drink ,but, we visited last week decided to have roast dinner pork,we where DISAPOINTED ,it boasted roast potatoes but they where deep fat fried, mixed veg with sweetcorn ,? When does sweetcorn go with roast dinner,?? We think picwicks you need to improve your roast dinners please . If we visit again we will stick to breakfast. This cafe has every potential to be amazing. The location is brilliant. Unfortunately the food, service and drinks let it down. The lady said that cash was the only payment they can accept as the card machine never works. I never received the water I asked for. They had no actual selection of cakes or just something that could go with a tea and coffee. The scones were very clearly out of a packet and had been put in the microwave as they were hot on the outside and cold on the inside. It was very overpriced for the lack of quality.

Stopped here with my wife and kids for a quick drink and a small bite to eat only to find the service was very poor. We were the only ones there and just after ordering was asked to pay and had to get cash from the cash machine as they didn't want to use their card machine. The percolated coffee was old and tasted stewed and stale. Definitely not fresh. Scones were not warmed properly. Possibly microwaved as the were stone cold on the inside. And just overpriced for what we got. Will not be going back.
