Palenque Grill La Cantera

We have loved the food, service, and atmosphere since we lived in Laredo, TX. We had dinner on December 28; the restaurant was buzzing! We were beautifully greeted and sat at the bar to enjoy football and listen to musicos. I cannot say enough about the excellent service we received from AZAEL. His service exemplifies his work ethic and love for his job. Palenque Grill is well represented with AZAEL. The food was outstanding. I love all the salsas, and queso..... We ordered lunch on Saturday with Johnny, MGR, and Marisol for New Year's Day for 10 to be picked up at 11:00 AM. Plus a vegan dish. The door opened at exactly 11:00 our food was ready and their supreme staff helped carry six bags of food in the car. Everything we ordered was delicious. My sister-in-law loved the vegan enchiladas. Palenque Grill and their staff are THE BEST in San Antonio and Laredo!! Elizabeth Greenblum

Food was great although it took 45 minutes to get our food to the table at a time when the restaurant was fairly empty

First time there. Had chicken fajitas and I was IN LOVE! Super tender, juicy, and tons of flavor! Homemade tortilla chips were so fresh and perfectly crisp and came with refried beans to dip them in. Salsas were all delicious as well!

Incredible food. The best tortillas both flour and corn. I had Puntas Albañil in the spicy version and they were awesome, be careful if you don’t eat a lot of chile. Big shoutout to Frida, our server, did a great job!

Alan the server was tremendous. Food was excellent.
