Bidrage med feedbackI visited The Seafarer with my daughter and would strongly advise against going there. When we sat down, the table had not been cleaned, which is unacceptable, especially during a global pandemic. There was a unpleasant smell and what looked like dirt or spills under the table. The food was extremely greasy, to the point where my daughter couldn't even eat the sausage because it tasted overcooked. I wouldn't even give this food to my dog, it was that bad. I recommend avoiding this place at all costs.
We have ordered dinner from this restaurant multiple times and have never had a reason to complain! The food is cooked perfectly, the portion sizes are generous, and it always tastes fresh. Our large orders have never been incorrect. We will definitely be ordering from here regularly.
Living by the seaside in Kent, there's nothing quite like enjoying fish and chips by the water. It had been too long since I last had a taste of it. While in the area for a work meeting and feeling hungry, I decided to stop by this restaurant during my drive through town. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise! The staff mentioned that they had recently taken over the business and had big plans for it, but their priority was serving quality food at a fair price. They delivered on both fronts. The portions were generous, prices were reasonable, and I opted to dine in as the restaurant was clean, cozy, and inviting. If you have the chance, I highly recommend stopping by for a meal or takeout. If I find myself in the area again, I will definitely be returning.
I visited five years ago and the food was not good, things have changed a lot since then. Went for a meal and it was very enjoyable and cooked well. I have been there three times since giving them another go. If in the past you have had a bad experience with them give them another go. The portions are ok and the as I said earlier cooked well.
On our journey back south we stopped in Stoke to get something to eat. After wandering through the streets we saw this place and whilst quickly browsing the menu from outside, a young lad came out and explained that they are participating in the Eat out to Help Out scheme too. Spotlessly clean inside,we were the only ones in there and plenty of signage about it all being new to them too so please be patient. The young lad was incredibly polite, brought the track and trace signing sheet and gave us the paper menus. The kids, aged 14 and 12, chose 9 nuggets and chips, hubby had double up breakfast and I had sausage, chips and beans. All meals were cooked fresh and were very filling...so much so that our dustbin son couldn't actually eat all of his adult meal, which is unusual. The toast with the breakfast was uncut doorstep bread-very unusual nowadays. The milkshakes and hot chocolate were lush. Drinks and meals cost just over £13 for all of us.. well worth the £26 too! Toilets were immaculate with soap and sanitizer and flannels/towels in a basket, which is a nice touch.
