Rocksalt Deli Cafe - Stockport

My wife and I went to Rocksalt for lunch and drinks a few days ago. We were seated and ordered our drinks. They arrived, and we waited to order our food. After 30 minutes, a waitress rudely told us "we're not serving food now" and walked away. Very impolite, we recommend avoiding this place!

The restaurant was very unwelcoming. I just wanted a drink, but the selection of ales was limited and poorly poured. I sat at the only open table I could find, which was meant for four people. As I was finishing up, a rude woman approached me and said, "I need this table for customers." I left and will not be returning. It seems that this restaurant only caters to those ordering food and gives special treatment to them.

The staff at this restaurant seemed impersonal and uninviting. The music was overly loud, and they would only take orders inside instead of at our table. It appears that there has been no change or enhancement in quality since my last visit.

This busy café bar on Heaton Moor is a good spot for lunch, plenty to choose from on the food menu with a full bar or coffees available too. Steak sandwich was great.

Very small portions certainly NOT value for money. Unpleasant and fraught staff including manager. Definitely gone downhill.
