Baekdu - Stockport

Very delicious Korean cuisine that reminds me of our stays in Korea. there are paid parking spaces opposite the restaurant. they might want to book a table if he is busy and can be aware that there are no baby change options. there are steps to get the toilets, but there are a few tables that are accessible without steps if I remember correctly if the accessibility is one for them. I could not see any disabled toilets, but they might want to call the restaurant to confirm this. otherwise great experience and we enjoyed our evening.

A real hidden gem. The beef was so well seasoned and delicious, the other meats we had were fantastic. Between 3 of us we had 5 different table BBQ dishes. We were recommended to get the salad, I was dubious as it is lettuce, however the pickled dish that comes with it was a pleasant surprise and a great compliment to the BBQ. We also ordered a lot of sides the vermicelli was a good choice and the dumplings. I would say you may need one BBQ dish per head if you are hungry, but if you order a few and share them about it is perfect. We were just super hungry, greedy and excited to be out of lockdown! The staff are polite and helpful and who knew Korean beer was so good. I can't wait to return.

Super tasty but more of an occassional place as it's abit pricey, the doenjangjjigae was really salty I really miss the shudehill Baekdu

Our daughter and her friend recommended this place and took us there, and I must say we loved it. It was a completely unique and enjoyable experience to have the meat cooked right at our table. We would definitely go back!

We ordered three types of meat: ox belly for £8.50, spicy marinated pork belly for £9.90, and spicy pork for £9.90. Each type of meat came with a dipping sauce. We also ordered a salad (the early spring mix for £4.50), which was recommended to accompany the grilled meat, pan-fried tofu for £7.50, and a boiled rice to share. The portion sizes for the meat and salads were reasonable for the price, but I thought the pan-fried tofu was a bit overpriced. Nonetheless, everything was delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive from start to finish. They even grilled the meat for us, which added a fun, interactive element to the experience. Overall, it was a wonderful night.
