Bidrage med feedbackWe were four who went for Brunch on November the 6th. Our first signal that this was going to be a poor experience should have been when Brunch was misspelt Brunsh on their sign. Undeterred, we soldiered on and ordered. We waited while the clearly exhausted quite possibly hungover waiter took our order. That took about 5 minutes. The brunch table was a bit picked over when we arrived at our table. There was soup, but no bowls. Nor plates. We asked where we could find salt, the waiter replied I have no idea. We scrounged at the brunch, picking the rest of the salmon and the apparently unpopular liver pate. The cheese was down to the rind. The bread and butter were both out. We asked if more bread was coming Oh, is it out? Replied our waiter. Yes, yes it is indeed. We sat for 45 minutes. At one point a waiter approached the brunch table. We watched as he removed an empty plate. Hurrah we thought, he 'll bring it back with more food! A few minutes later he returned. Empty handed. Realizing that the empty plate was obvious, he simply rearranged the table until the space was filled. Now finding he had a poor ratio of side dishes to mains he craft-fully removed a side dish as well. Truly brilliant. There were several crying children in the restaurant. When I asked their parents what was the matter they replied they ordered the brunch!
This restaurant is located right when you walk into the Open Air Museum for Skansen and their pastries and treats in the front were delicious and offered the traditional chocklobolls. Some of their restaurant menu items also included the traditional meatballs but made with moose meat and there is free bread and fried flatbread on the side for you to eat. Really good place to stop by on the way in if you are starving, as I was, but there are much better and more affordable places once you get inside the park!
The worst meatballs ever they where like rubber, the pancakes should been in the pan a bit longer to be done. I do not recommend this establishment.
The meatballs and potatoes were very good, exactly what I wanted. The chicken leg was tender and came with a generous portion of barley. The grilled ham and grilled cheese sandwiches were very good, the pickles on them really popped. We sat outside and had a few bees buzzing around our drinks other than that it was fine.
No energies and sad food. This is so sad because Skansen is a lovely place and everything else you try is so tasty. They should make better food and be more happy.
