Such an inventive menu, with really well matched wines to go with the food. Not cheap, but well worth the experience. Great service too and a friendly atmosphere. How fun to be able to go fine dining as a vegan!
I had a great experience at this restaurant, the food was interesting and very filling. But of course, it was a bit pricey, especially the drinks (a glass of wine for SEK160). The pairing was fun, but it wasn't a lot to drink ... Fun to try but the next time I indulge in something like this, I'll try another place.
We had a very pleasant evening here, with interesting food and friendly service. The flavour combinations were all quite unique. Almost every course included an ingredient I normally dislike (e.g. mustard), but they somehow managed to transform these completely by balancing them really well with other flavours. (Not quite so for the lemongrass in de desert, which was a bit of a disappointment). When we were there, only a set menu was available (other reviews/photos here seem to indicate otherwise), with a choice between small and large (the same must be chosen by everyone at the table). We chose the small menu and found it to be quite filling. The drinks pairings didn't really work for us. The non-alcoholic drinks were nice by themselves, but we felt they didn't particularly add anything to the dishes they were served with. Our table companions were equally unimpressed with the wine pairing. Overall an interesting experience, I would rate at 3.5* if possible, but given the price tag and somewhat disappointing drinks pairing, I'll have to round down to 3*.
A very upmarket veggie restaurant inside the Grand Hotel. A small range of vegan dishes on a separate menu, as well as two desserts. The deep fried artichoke was super yum, and the hummus, bread, nuts and tomato nibbles plus the 'free ' chocolate at the end of the meal almost justified the price. The service was lovely the presentation was well done and staff are very sweet.
