Bidrage med feedbackMy partner surprised me with a visit here on my birthday. It's was quite a cool dining experience. He had informed them beforehand that we are vegan and I don't eat gluten. They had no problem adapting the food. We got a 8 course tasting dinner with nordic foods prepared with Japanese techniques. It as a real taste sensation and even the gluten free bread was amazing. Rather pricy but really nice if you want to have a fancy celebration. The only thing I would have liked to add was some tofu of beans for it to be a bit more filling but otherwise amazing. The staff is also friendly and doting on you, making sure you have everything you need and explaining each dish in detail.
Me and my partner went here as a celebration for our anniversary. You have to book a table in advance. I had the vegan menu and he the vegetarian one. They serve multiple course menu, while serving a dish they explain the ingredients and how its been made. They can also recommend drinks to each dish our you can choose their pre-assembled drink menu. The waitress we had was great, she was very knowledge in japanese sake, which was a perfect fit for us. We went with her recommendation the entire evening and got to taste a lot of various sakes we hadn't before. The food was fun, and it's was a quite unique experience to eat Japanese style food but with typical Swedish ingredients. It's a bit expensive, but if you want to make a special evening out we highly recommend this place.
The staff is super thoughtful and friendly, they all know their job and present the food in a very professional way. The food is amazing, Japanese style food with Scandinavian ingredients… really interesting combinations What I liked a lot is the non alcoholic drinks paired with the food. One does not always have this choice!
This refreshingly new take on Japanese/Swedish style affords a truly enjoyable dining experience. The staff are welcoming, attentive and very knowledgeable and the thoughtful layout reflects the spirit of Japan. Presentation of the dishes highlights the quality of the predominantly local produce. The genius of the kitchen team is in the combinations of flavours which are inspired by traditional Japanese cuisine. We loved every morsel and every moment of our meal. Try it you won't be disappointed.
I was really looking forward to visiting this place and here are my thoughts on Ichi. The atmosphere was cozy and the tables, settings, menus were beautiful. Before visiting they assured us that they were being very safe and responsible (covid 19), which was why we felt they were an option. Their selection of drinks was refreshing, with a lot of fun alcohol free options, e.g. ginger ale with a wasabi twist. The food itself was gorgeous to look at and made with such care. The only negative thing I'd like to bring up is that they were a little stingy with flavor the dishes were incredibly subtle. Too subtle for me. I was looking for more punch in the taste and was a little disappointed.
