Village Food Lounge - Stirling

The coffee at this restaurant is strong and the soups are fantastic. However, it would be great to see more vegan options available, especially since it is located in a sports center. Overall, the coffee is great and the atmosphere is lovely.

We had a wonderful day of curling at the Peak on February 10th, where four different clubs came together for a bonspiel. The ice was in fantastic condition. After our games, we enjoyed a meal at the restaurant, which was delicious and reasonably priced. There were a variety of main courses to choose from, followed by cream scones and cakes for dessert. The staff were attentive and provided great service for our group of 35. We were well taken care of and would definitely return. Great job!

We ordered from the Christmas lunch menu and had it delivered to our office. We each ordered 2 courses for £13.95. The food arrived in a timely manner for our lunch break and it was absolutely delicious! The salmon mousse with oatcakes and onion relish was tasty, as was the Parma ham with melon ribbons and balsamic glaze which was both beautiful and delicious. The main courses were beef medallions in peppercorn sauce or turkey escalope wrapped in ham with stuffing and gravy, served with roast potatoes, buttered carrots, sprouts, and pigs in blankets. We were pleasantly surprised to find Christmas crackers and mince pies included in our order. This was our first experience with a high-end takeaway service, but it definitely won't be our last. The meal can also be enjoyed at the village food lounge upstairs in the peak sports village. Overall, fantastic value and excellent food. Bravo to the chef!
