The service was outstanding, but keep in mind that what you see on the menu might not be what you actually end up getting. It's wise to ask a lot of questions and request descriptions of the desserts before you place your order.

The waitress seemed to pressure us into leaving a tip. After we voiced our concerns about the high price of a glass of still water, she claimed she wasn’t expecting a tip. She also insisted we could not change our order, even though we hadn’t paid yet. Furthermore, she warned us that a lack of tipping would affect the staff’s willingness to serve us in the future. On a brighter note, the waffles were enjoyable, but the coffee milkshake was excessively bitter. It's also worth mentioning that they don’t serve any beef products; when we asked to swap the breakfast bacon for beef sausages, we were told this was not allowed, and they don't permit substitutions. Overall, it was a really disappointing experience.

Our server was truly remarkable, but unfortunately, the food arrived cold and the wait time was excessively long.

I stopped by for a breakfast special, but my experience was quite disappointing. The coffee served was weak when it arrived. After some time, the waitress informed me that our food would take longer due to being understaffed. Shortly after, the manager came out to explain that they had run out of gas because someone had forgotten to place an order. We eventually decided to cancel our order, yet I was still charged separately for the coffee, which cost R25 for a subpar cup. I think I'll opt for one of the other restaurants in Kolonnade next time.

This is a wonderful place for families! I really love their waffles and ice cream—they're simply amazing!
