Vi's Restaurant - Stewartdale

This used to be a beloved spot, but a few months ago the owners of VI's Restaurant decided to sell their property, resulting in the permanent closure of the restaurant. It's sad to see it go.

Awesome food and excellent service great place to stop in and have a home cooked meal give it a try.

This place is our usual stop off for breakfast every time we are in the area. Good food, good prices, easy to find.

Vi's Restaurant has been a Trans Canada Restaurant fixture for many years, there's nothing spectacular about any one of the dishes at this venue. The food is simple and served plainly. The food is good, the decorum is not, but I'm sure you can forget that with their homemade apple pis.

Decided to eat here on way back from Halifax...Have not been there in 30 years....the decor has not changed!!! Our parents used to take us there after a Sunday drive when we were kids...I swear!! Let me tell you...it might be severely dated....but is super super clean...and the food is as tasty as it was years ago!!! he staff are very busy...run off their feet actually...but you will not find better service anywhere....The owner even came out and had a long chat with us...what a gem she is!!! I went down the memory trail...had a hot turkey...IT WAS TO DIE FOR!!!....my husband had fish and chips...and he is an expert on this dish....said it was the best in a long time!! It is no wonder that this place is always blocked when you drive by!!!...Me....I won"t wait another 30 years....the food here is just too damn good!!...See you soon!!
