Sloppy Genes Cafe - Sterling

We have always had great meals at Sloppy Genes. We often order breakfast and it is always delicious! The ultimate omelette is amazing!

I have never had a negative dining experience at this restaurant and the service is top-notch. My only wish is that they were open more days of the week.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. They have the best French fries in town and the maid rites are simply amazing.

For lunch there was a loose meat sandwich Gene Rite for the first time in my life. It was great! Not greasy at all, it was perfectly seasoned with mustard, selected and onions on it. My wife and SIL got pommes with cheese sauce and chili, the pommes were thin and crispy. Service was friendly and price was right. So good, I actually ordered another Gene Rite with bacon and cheese! Very happy we stayed on the way from IA to IL!

Excellent food. Loose meat sandwiches and tuna fish on toast. Everything was good and priced well. I swear if this was closer to home I'd be here everyday. Thank you for such a great lunch. Soup was excellent as well.
