Chateau Restaurant - Stephenville

The restaurant is clean and serves fresh, hot food. The menu features typical cafe fare such as a hot turkey sandwich and roast beef dinner.

I visited this restaurant with a friend and we decided to order the onion rings. We paid around $10 for a serving and were hoping for some delicious onion rings.

Slow ... slow ... service. Lineups to get in; lineups to get out. During lunch hour, I'd suggest eating else where if you're on a schedule. They advertise a Senior's Discount and then don't offer it. If you have mobility issues don't expect any comfort in the tiny booths. The food (overpriced for a slow fast food joint, was good.

The Chateau offers many options for all different types of meals and tastes. I had the chicken club wrap and for the price of it I felt it wasn't worth what I got. It was tasty but it was small and lacking in toppings. The others in my party got soups and buns and those looked delicious and well worth the price for those. The buns were homemade and obviously made very recently. The service was quick and friendly. A comfortable atmosphere suitable for any age group.

Whenever I visit Stephenville, this restaurant consistently delivers excellent service, delicious home-cooked meals, and a cozy atmosphere. I always leave with a satisfied belly and a reasonable bill.
