What an excellent place, house made dessert, and great steaks! Will definitely go to Stephenville

Great food. Our steaks were cooked the way we requested, tasted great and tender. Great people. Fast friendly service. You really should try this place.

We visited on a Thursday, which was burger basket special day. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger served with onion rings. It was an old-fashioned, hot-off-the-grill, massive half-pound beef patty topped with Swiss cheese, mushrooms, and grilled onions, all nestled in a bun with your choice of mustard or mayonnaise. It was fantastic! The onion rings were tasty, but I couldn’t finish them as I wanted to save room for dessert. My wife opted for the steak fingers, accompanied by macaroni and cheese and French fries, which were served with Texas Toast. She doesn’t like gravy and asked for it to be omitted, but it typically comes with the order. She enjoyed her meal immensely and remarked that the mac and cheese reminded her of her grandmother's cooking, bringing back fond memories. We decided to try both desserts. I chose the peach cobbler, which was incredible! It wasn’t overly sweet and had a bread pudding-like texture with a delicate crust that complemented the peaches beautifully. My wife had the apple cake, and after taking a bite, I thought it was also very good. Neither of us could finish our desserts, and we ended up taking at least half of them home in a to-go box. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions. We’ve added Floyd's Cafe to our favorites in our GPS so we can be sure to stop by whenever we’re in the area. I’m looking forward to returning for dinner to try their grilled steak. There’s definitely something to look forward to on our next visit!

This is an excellent restaurant to dine at! I've never had a bad meal there. The steaks are fantastic, and I’ve heard great things about the meat as well, though I didn't try it myself. The owners are wonderful people; they always take the time to visit each table and ensure everything is satisfactory.

Upon entering, you'll immediately feel you've made a great choice: the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is beautiful and clean. I highly recommend the pinto beans, which are slow-cooked the traditional way, paired with a generous slice of homemade meatloaf that brings back memories of my mother's recipe. Don't miss out on dessert; their menu features a variety of treats, including chocolate cakes and seasonal fresh fruit cobblers. They use only USDA Choice meat, ensuring that the hamburgers are healthy, juicy, and flavorful. And be sure to try their new Buzzi Bites—they're absolutely delicious!
