Italian Delight - Stephens City

Italian Delight has been our go-to delivery italian delivery restaurant since we moved into the area about 2 years ago. I have recommended them to many of my neighbors in my community. As my first review was 5 stars, unfortunately, the meal that we just had delivered was one of the worst that we have ever had from anywhere. Italian sub toasted?? Didn't ask for this. The lettuce was totally wilted and looked brown. Cheese melted and the consistency of rubber. The roll, hard on the outside, and soaked with oil to make it soggy and gummy on the inside. This sub was so bad that my girlfriend threw it into the garbage. My cheeseburger sub was graced with the same soggy wilted lettuce and dripping with excessive mayonnaise, totally unacceptable. The French fries were cold, soggy, and greasy. Onion rings ice cold and greasy. Thank goodness that we have an air fryer to make the fries and onion rings somewhat edible, or we would not have had a Saturday night meal at all. We were forced to have cereal for our dinner. I was beside myself and had to call the restaurant and let them know how bad this meal was so they would be aware of the problems. Now, for the reason I am posting this scathing review... I called and asked to speak to the manager on duty. The man who answered said that he was the manager. I asked for his name, and he responded Nathan. I calmly described all of the issues that I have outlined above and suggested that he check with the kitchen. After a long, pregnant pause, he had no response. Not an apology or a go-to hell, nothing!! I was agast of this lack of customer relations skill. I'm sorry to say that I can no longer recommend this restaurant and will take my business elsewhere. I will also make sure that I steer anyone away from Italian Delight.

Best thin crust pizza in the Stephens City area! I really like the pepperoni and sausage pizza. It's usually pretty busy, but I normally phone order and the order is always ready within the time quoted on the phone.

Ordered over an hour ago. They had my food done and sitting and were waiting til they closed to bring my food. Not paying $50 for them to bring me old and cold food. Last time I order from them. Anthony's is better anyways.

So i called tonight and the female who identified herself as the manager says I believe the Margharita pizza comes like that... NO IT DOESNT! So even the Hawiian pizza everything slid off also Guess that comes like that also... So for such a flip answer she gave me i will no longer order 4+ times a week.. Awful experience with the management. I 've been a loyal and frequent customer at this restaurant since they first opened, over 15 years ago. During my last visit, which was over three months ago, a manager refused to do her job by talking to another customer about her SCREAMING child. I don 't mean being loud, yelling or crying. But literally screaming for at least 40 minutes and perhaps since they entered the restaurant before I arrived. I sat at my booth for roughly 15 20 minutes before my lunch was served. Long story short, despite my obvious outward signs of being frustrated and being noticed by at least three staff members, including the manager on duty, absolutely nothing was done to remedy the situation. They literally stood there watching the parent and the child. I stood up and politely but firmly asked the parent to control her child. At this moment the manager decided to get involved and ordered me to sit down or take my food to go. I stated that no one should have to endure this kind of nonsense during their meal with a child relentlessly screaming and disrupting other customers. I finished my meal and left. I 'm used to children. I know they have their moments . In the past I was a foster parent for several years and was admired by Social Services for how well I handled children. A few days later, I visited the restaurant to speak with another manager regarding this incident, only to be admonished yet again. Her remarks included, When I 'm working I give the child a piece of paper and a pencil to keep him busy . This manager admitted to me that the manager on duty that day stated that, Yes, this child was exceptionally loud the day Steve was here . Despite this, this second manager also continued to reprimand me for speaking up, irregardless of the fact that the manager on duty that day did absolutely nothing to correct the problem. Did anyone apologize to me for the manager not doing her job? No. Did the owner, who I 've known for over fifteen years get involved? No. I was the bad guy. I was humiliated twice once by each manager. No one deserves this treatment. Especially a frequent and loyal customer. Obviously, the only thing that matters to this restaurant is the almighty .
