Seewirt - Steindorf Am Ossiacher See

The location is really nice, directly on the lakeshore. The food is traditional Austrian, good and not too expensive. The service was hurried and not very kind, even though the place was not too full. Something must have changed, we ate here in that past...years and the service was OK.

A good a solid place at a reasonable price. Could have been better with real potatoes in some form to a beef than pommes frites. Service great and helpfull.

Very unfriendly. satisfactory situation, but that is it. we stood up and went. I guess they rely on their location and do not worry about their service

The place is enchanting. we had lunch on the lake in the shade of green trees. good eating and honest prices. you can't say the same thing from the personal. the waiters are very friendly and helpful (although some speak English, or do not want. speak it, the menu is only in German .., the 'head waiter' but after a waitress let us sit on a table of six people (we were two with a child of 1 year and half, made us abruptly move and tell us this is a table of six people! Beyond that, if they move me after we've settled in, at least they help us move around the dinge, instead we even had to ask for the menus we've already given. from the series. friendliness and courtesy cannot be learned.

After more than 20 minutes waiting time left my children and I left the restaurant. the service has not paid us attention and we have the impression that we are not welcome here. probably because of nationality. the German-speaking guests around us were served. we just got drinks here. total time here 40 minutes. apparently the waiter chooses his guests. very bad experience.
