Hekkan Burger Stavanger

Some of the best burgers my friend and I have ever eaten. Juicy, well-seasoned and well-cooked meat, good toppings, great sauce, soft bun. Generous portion of delicious fries. Super cool environment. Friendly staff. Could not recommend this place more. My friend ordered a double dirty burger and absolutely loved it. I ordered the BBQ burger and had no complaints! Would absolutely eat here again.

Good burger joint in Stavanger. Burgers are heavy but I guess that 's also a benefit. Well built, gloves available, therefore easy to eat. Liked the NA beer choice ca 8 different no worries beers

I know I 'm a traveler just passing by and normally I don 't write these types of reviews but this was honestly one of the worst business interactions I 've had with any establishment in my life. Essentially I was charged for two burgers (one of which being the most expensive burger in the restaurant) that I did not ask for. I ended with a 50$ bill for what is equivalent to a fancy McDonald 's hamburger. When I got the bill and immediately asked for a refund they said it was too late, the burger was cooking. I literally had zero opportunity to fix their error and was told to suck it up. I could see the manager laughing in the back and how she sent an obviously new and nervous employee to deal with me I know it 's not much but this has been an irritating experience to sys the least and it tainted my perspective of lovely Stavanger. My main complaint is that nearly every bite of the burger contained cartilage bits, which is completely unacceptable for a burger that costs 200kr. This is the main reason why I will not be returning, even if I were to shave my face. I recommend heading downtown Stavanger for a better burger experience, without mentioning any specific names. Overall, it was a disappointment.
